The Robot That Makes Virtual Sex Feel Real

 Tenga is a Japanese manufacturer of disposable male sex toys—they make cylindrical "masturbation aids" that somehow don't seem as repulsive as the Fleshlight (perhaps mostly because they're not called a fleshlight). They're also promoting a jerry-rigged amalgam of software and robotics that's easily the closest you can come to having physical sex with a video game.

Energy Expenditure during Sexual Activity in Young Healthy Couples

The present study indicates that energy expenditure during sexual activity appears to be approximately 85 kCal or 3.6 kCal/min and seems to be performed at a moderate intensity (5.8 METS) in young healthy men and women. These results suggest that sexual activity may potentially be considered, at times, as a significant exercise.
